ADDES Students receive Bibles
By the grace of God, our Church family was able to bless every student of ADDES with a Bible.
Here, P Stan handing out the Bibles to the high school students.
Luis giving Bibles to the elementary students.
'Yeap, open those Bibles!'
Mariela, the headmastress of the school, supports us in everything that relates to our ministry to the students.

ADDES Elementary and High School

It's a lot of fun to be the 'official religion teachers' at this school. The students are from various family situations, each has his own story. They are all very interested in the Bible and the person of Jesus Christ which brings us beyond 'just a religion class'.
On Fridays we teach a class to the 6-9th graders, then the 10-11th grade. While Julianna and Adrienne are 'dealing with' the little ones in the 1-5 gr.

Mysheel often translates for my classes as well.
She also helps me prepare tests and homework for the students

Team PERU
Colan
On our way to the Pacific Ocean we stopped in the little town of Colan, and checked out the first church building in South America. Walking on foundations of that old building we all were amazed at the history of that place.
The team (from left to right): Sue, Val, Karen, Mysheel, myself, Adrienne, Julianna. P Stan is right behind the camera and Pedro and Jon Stambo are aaa... probably somewhere eating ice cream.Mission Trip to Piura
10 of us traveled, praying for open hearts and open doors.Piura is a major city 973 km North of Lima. It is a nice 14 hour overnight bus trip. This city has a very rich history: it was here that the Spanish conqueror Francisco Pizzaro founded the first Spanish city in South America.
With Piura's present population of 1.6 million, and several universities, our hearts were impressed with a vision for future on campus Bible studies and outreaches.
People on the street were very open; many stopped and listened to the sketch board presentation. Many also expressed their desire to be contacted and invited out to a Bible study at our next visit.
