10 of us traveled, praying for open hearts and open doors.Piura is a major city 973 km North of Lima. It is a nice 14 hour overnight bus trip. This city has a very rich history: it was here that the Spanish conqueror Francisco Pizzaro founded the first Spanish city in South America.
With Piura's present population of 1.6 million, and several universities, our hearts were impressed with a vision for future on campus Bible studies and outreaches.
People on the street were very open; many stopped and listened to the sketch board presentation. Many also expressed their desire to be contacted and invited out to a Bible study at our next visit.
